Free loyalty program and back office for tutoring centres

The Break-even calculator, the Profit by item screen and the Stamp card are free. They are set up for how a tutoring centre runs, including how many days a regular can be away before KANJIN flags them.

No card and no time limit. The calculators need no account at all.

How a tutoring centre runs

The numbers are set for your trade

Families decide once a term. Between terms nobody hears from you, and by the time the new term starts a neighbour has recommended somewhere else.

180

days without a visit before KANJIN flags a regular

This is the default for a tutoring centre. Writing too early annoys people. Waiting too long means they have already found somewhere else. You can change the number in the back office.

Get the answer for your own tutoring centre

A centre pays rent and tutors whether the room is full or not. Break-even shows how many students a term must carry, which is the number every discount and every open day has to be judged against.

What is left after cost of goods

We divide your monthly fixed costs by the 26 days you open. Then we add one day of labor cost. Each customer covers only what is left after cost of goods. That is why the number is higher than your costs divided by the average check.

Questions tutoring centre owners ask

When does KANJIN say a family has stopped coming?
180 days by default, the professional services window. A family that skipped one term is not lost; one that skipped two is. You can shorten the window for weekly lessons.
Does KANJIN store anything about the students?
It holds a phone number, an email if given, and a count of visits and stamps. There is no field for grades, ages or school. Do not put those in the name field.
Can I email parents before the new term?
Yes. Email your regulars sends one message to everyone who said yes, with your offer and your code. Nothing sends by itself; you choose the day.
