Free loyalty program and back office for nail studios

The Break-even calculator, the Profit by item screen and the Stamp card are free. They are set up for how a nail studio runs, including how many days a regular can be away before KANJIN flags them.

No card and no time limit. The calculators need no account at all.

How a nail studio runs

The numbers are set for your trade

A set lasts two to three weeks, so the next visit is already on the calendar in the client’s head. The work is making sure it is your calendar.

56

days without a visit before KANJIN flags a regular

This is the default for a nail studio. Writing too early annoys people. Waiting too long means they have already found somewhere else. You can change the number in the back office.

A nail menu has twenty services and three of them make the money. The service matrix sorts them by margin and by how often they are booked, so you know which to push and which to price up.

Top earners

2

Keep these. Put them at the top of the menu or list. Ask staff to recommend them. Never put them on discount.

Ribeye Steak, Truffle Pasta

Popular, low profit

1

People already buy these. Raise the price a little, or cut the cost. A small change earns a lot here because you sell so many.

Signature Burger

Profitable, rarely sold

1

These earn well but few people order them. Show one more clearly on the menu, give it a better name, or sell it together with a popular item.

Lobster Roll

Low on both

1

Cut these, unless they do another job. For example a kids option, a vegan option, or the thing a regular always orders.

Garden Salad

Your menu makes $7,220 in gross profit a week. The middle item earns $18.00 each and sells 85 a week.

We split the chart at the median (middle value) of the items you entered, not an industry average. So half your items will always land on each side. We use the median because one big seller would pull the average so far that every other item looked the same. Cost means ingredient cost only. Labor and overhead are not included.

Questions nail studio owners ask

How long before KANJIN says a nail client has stopped coming?
56 days by default, the salon window. A client on a three-week cycle who has missed two visits is at eight weeks. Writing earlier than that would nag people who are simply not due.
Can the stamp card give a free service after ten visits?
Yes. You set how many stamps earn the reward and what the reward is. Stamps are given at the counter from the number the client gives, so there is no card to lose.
Can I ask for Google reviews without picking only happy clients?
KANJIN asks every client the same way, by email, some time after the visit. Picking only the happy ones is review gating, which Google bans.
