Gift Certificate Maker

Can I print gift certificates for my shop today?

Free. No sign-up.

An amount or a thing. Both print the same size.

Every certificate gets its own number: YS-0001, YS-0002, and so on.

Printing more later? Start where you left off.

Leave it empty and the certificate says so. Some places require no expiry by law — check yours.

How this works

Your shop name, the amount, and a different code on every one. Two or four to a page, ready to cut.

A gift certificate is the one thing a small shop sells that brings in somebody who has never been: the person holding it was given it by a regular. This prints a sheet of them with your name on, each with its own number, ready to cut and sell at the counter.

  • Each certificate gets its own code, counting up from the number you choose. Two people cannot be handed the same one, and you can start a second batch where the first finished.
  • The design prints as black line art on white. That is deliberate: tinted panels come out grey on most shop printers and cost a cartridge.
  • One sheet fits both A4 and US Letter, so there is nothing to choose but the paper already in the tray.
  • Nothing you type is sent anywhere. The certificates are drawn in your browser, and the codes are yours to write down.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. Type, print, done. Nothing is saved and nothing is sent to us.
Does every certificate have a different number?
Yes. They count up from the number you choose, so a second batch can start where the first one finished and no two people are handed the same code.
Does KANJIN know when one is used?
No. These are pieces of paper with your name on. KANJIN does not read the codes and has no gift-certificate screen — write down which code you sold to whom, and mark it off when it comes back.
Should I put an expiry date on it?
That depends where you are: several places require gift certificates not to expire, or set a minimum. Leave the date empty and the certificate says "No expiry date", which is the safe default. Check your own rules before you set one.
Will it print properly on my paper?
Yes. One sheet fits A4 and US Letter, and the certificates are sized to sit inside both. Pick your paper in the print box as usual.
Can I write the amount by hand instead?
Yes. Put a dash or a few spaces in the amount box and write it in. Shops often print a batch with no amount and fill it in at the counter.
