Creator discovery
Find local creators near your shop, and invite them in
You do not need an influencer with a million followers in another country. You need the person in your city who posts about places like yours. KANJIN finds them by city and trade, in the language they post in, and writes the invitation for you to send.
Part of the paid plan: $39 a month per location, or $390 a year. Nothing is charged until you choose to start.
Say where you are and what you sell
Your city, and one of six trades: coffee and bakery, restaurant, salon and spa, barbershop, retail, or fitness and wellness. Not a free-text box, so the same shop type in the same city is always the same search.
KANJIN searches in the language they post in
A Taipei cafe searching “coffee” finds English-language travel accounts. Searching 咖啡廳 as well finds the people who actually live there. That is the difference between a creator whose viewers could walk in and one whose viewers are on holiday.
The invitation comes written
In your shop’s own words, naming what you are offering. You read it, change anything you like, and send it yourself. KANJIN never messages a creator for you.
Plainly
What it does, and what it never does
It does
- Searches YouTube through its official API: real channels with stable public links, in 22 countries including Taiwan and Japan
- Searches Instagram two ways: paste a profile you already follow, or search by your city and trade
- Reads follower, following and post counts from the public profile line, so you can tell a local favourite from an account with nothing behind it
- Drafts the invitation in your shop’s words, with the offer you choose
- Keeps a search for seven days, so two shops looking for the same thing in the same city do not pay for the same search twice
- Part of the paid plan: $39 a month per shop, or $390 a year
It never
- Never invents a creator, a follower count or an email address. If a way to contact someone is not published, KANJIN says so rather than guessing
- Never messages anyone on your behalf. You read every invitation and you send it
- Never scrapes Instagram or buys scraped profiles
- Never promises a creator will reply or say yes. It finds people and writes the ask; the rest is yours
Questions
Common questions
- What is creator discovery?
- A way to find people who post about your kind of shop, near your shop, and invite them in. Not a marketing agency and not an influencer with a million followers in another country — somebody whose viewers live close enough to visit you. Nothing is sent for you, and no contact detail is ever invented: if a creator has not published a way to reach them, KANJIN says so.
- Does a creator have to say it was free?
- Yes, and this matters. If you give a creator a free meal, a free visit or anything else of value, the post has to be labelled as a gift or an ad — that is the FTC in the United States and the 公平交易委員會 in Taiwan, and the rule is the creator’s to follow. Ask for it when you invite them. A post that hides the arrangement is worth less to you anyway, because readers who spot it stop trusting the recommendation.
- How do I find local influencers for my cafe?
- Pick your city and your trade. KANJIN searches YouTube and Instagram in the language creators in that city actually post in, and gives you the accounts with the public numbers beside them. You choose who to invite, and the message is already drafted.
- Why does the language matter so much?
- Because searching in English in a non-English city finds visitors, not residents. A Taipei cafe searching 咖啡廳 finds people who live and eat there; the same cafe searching “coffee” finds travel accounts passing through. One of those can become a regular and send you regulars.
- What do I offer a creator?
- Usually a free visit rather than a fee. The free Discount ROI calculator prices that honestly: a meal that sells for $28 at 30% food cost costs you $8.40, so ten of them cost $84, not $280. That is the number to compare against what local ads would cost for the same reach.
- Does KANJIN contact them for me?
- No. It finds them and writes the invitation; you send it. Nothing goes out in your name without you reading it first.
- What does it cost?
- It is part of the paid plan: $39 a month per shop, or $390 a year. The stamp card, the daily ledger and every calculator stay free, with no time limit.

A discount cuts the price for everyone who would have paid anyway. KANJIN emails your regulars only on the days you need them, and finds local creators you can invite.
