Slow day emails
Fill a quiet day with one tap
An empty room at 2 pm, or rain in tomorrow’s forecast. Press one button and your regulars get a short email from your shop, with your delivery or booking link. Then see who came in.
Part of the paid plan: $39 a month per location, or $390 a year. Billing is not live yet; nothing is charged until you choose to start.
The room is empty, or rain is coming
Open Slow Day SOS and pick the reason, or open Rainy day and tap the wet day in the week’s forecast. The email is written for you. Change any word.
One tap emails your regulars
Now, the evening before at 6 pm, or that morning at 9 am, on your shop’s clock. It goes to everyone who left an email and said yes, up to 1,000 people.
KANJIN counts who came in
Over the next three days it counts the people you emailed who came in, and how many of those visits were extra beyond their usual pattern.
Plainly
What it does, and what it never does
It does
- Writes the email for the reason you pick: an empty room, empty chairs, a wet day, or your own words
- Carries your delivery or booking link, and a code word if you want one; you decide what it is worth at the counter
- Shows how many people it will reach before you press Send
- Two sends a week on the paid plan, so people keep opening them. The free plan sends one a month to up to 150 people
- Shows an honest estimate of the visits it brought, after taking away the visits those regulars would have made anyway
It never
- Never sends by itself: a wet week is not seven emails unless you send seven
- Never writes to anyone who did not leave an email and tick yes to hearing from you
- Never texts. It is email, so there is no charge per message
- Never counts a stamp given for an email address, or a friend’s stamp, as a visit the email brought
Questions
Common questions
- What is a slow day email?
- A short email to your regulars on a day you have room: an offer, a reminder that you are open, or your delivery link when it is raining. Regulars already like you, so a quiet day is the best time to ask them in.
- How does the rain part work?
- Set where your shop is, once. The Rainy day screen shows the next seven days from MET Norway, the Norwegian weather service, with the wet days marked. Tap one and the email is written for that day.
- How do I know it worked?
- The Marketing overview shows how many of the people you emailed came in within three days, and how many of those visits were extra beyond their usual pattern. It is an estimate, and it never counts a regular who would have come anyway.
- Can I send it on the free plan?
- The free plan sends one email a month to up to 150 customers, from Email your regulars. The one-tap slow-day and rainy-day screens, two sends a week and up to 1,000 customers are the paid plan.
- What does it cost?
- $39 a month per location, or $390 a year, as part of the paid plan. Billing is not live yet; nothing is charged until you choose to start.
