Free loyalty program and back office for bakeries

The Break-even calculator, the Profit by item screen and the Stamp card are free. They are set up for how a bakery runs, including how many days a regular can be away before KANJIN flags them.

No card and no time limit. The calculators need no account at all.

How a bakery runs

The numbers are set for your trade

Everything is baked before the first customer arrives, so a quiet morning is not a saved cost. It is bread that goes home unsold.

21

days without a visit before KANJIN flags a regular

This is the default for a bakery. Writing too early annoys people. Waiting too long means they have already found somewhere else. You can change the number in the back office.

Get the answer for your own bakery

A bakery lives on how many loaves and coffees a morning must sell before the ovens are paid for. Most owners guess it. This works it out from the flour, the staff and the rent.

What is left after cost of goods

We divide your monthly fixed costs by the 26 days you open. Then we add one day of labor cost. Each customer covers only what is left after cost of goods. That is why the number is higher than your costs divided by the average check.

Questions bakery owners ask

How many mornings can a regular miss before KANJIN notices?
Three weeks by default, the same as a cafe. A bakery regular comes by habit on the way to work. If they have not been in for 21 days, they have found another route. You can change the number of days in the back office.
Can I email regulars when I have too much left at 3 pm?
Yes. Slow Day SOS sends one email to the regulars who said yes, with your offer and your code. It counts as one of your two marketing emails a week, so people do not get tired of you.
Do I need a card reader or a new till?
No. The stamp card runs on a phone number at the counter, on the tablet you already have. Nothing to install and no paper card to print.
