Review requests

Automated Google review requests by email, with no gating

Every customer who leaves an email is asked once, after their visit, in your words. Nobody is filtered by how happy they looked. That is the version Google allows.

$39 a month per location, or $390 a year. Cancel any time. Billing is not live yet; early access is free until 31 December 2026.

01

A customer visits

They give their number at the counter or scan the poster. If they also leave an email, they are on the list for one request.

02

KANJIN sends one email after the visit

You set how long after: an hour, that evening, the next morning. The email says who you are, thanks them for the visit, and links to your Google listing. No offer, no code, no condition.

03

Every customer gets the same ask

KANJIN does not sort customers by how happy they seem, and offers nothing for a review. That is what Google allows.

Plainly

What it does, and what it never does

It does

  • Sends one review request email per visit, at the delay you choose
  • Uses your own words. You see exactly what the customer receives before you turn it on
  • Sends one reminder four days later if the link was not clicked, and never a second
  • Drafts a reply to each review for you to read, edit and approve

It never

  • Never filters customers by rating or mood before asking
  • Never asks for a "good" review or a "5-star" review
  • Never posts a reply without a person pressing Approve
  • Never texts. Requests go by email, so there is no per-message fee

Want the math first? The free Google review calculator shows how many five-star reviews it takes to move your rating, and how many weeks that is at your pace.

Questions

Common questions

Is asking customers for Google reviews allowed?
Yes. Google allows you to ask customers for reviews. Google does not allow you to ask only the happy ones, or to offer anything for a review. KANJIN asks every customer and offers nothing for it.
What is review gating, and why does KANJIN refuse to do it?
Review gating means checking how a customer feels first, then sending the happy ones to Google and the unhappy ones to a private form. It breaks Google’s rules, and listings that do it can have reviews removed. KANJIN does not have that feature and will not add it.
When is the request sent?
After the visit, at the delay you set on the Reviews tab. Many shops choose one to three hours, while the visit is fresh. Each visit sends at most one request.
Do you reply to reviews for me?
KANJIN writes a draft reply for each review. You read it, change what you want, and press Approve. Nothing is posted by itself. On the free plan you can paste a review and get the same draft using your own free Google Gemini key.
What does it cost?
$39 a month per location, or $390 a year, as part of the paid plan, which also includes Slow Day SOS emails, Automated Vendor Settlement reports and creator discovery. Cancel any time. Billing is not live yet; early access is free until 31 December 2026.

Fill your quiet days without cutting prices

A discount cuts the price for everyone who would have paid anyway. KANJIN emails your regulars only on the days you need them, and finds local creators you can invite.
