How to use it

1. 1Read Customer growth: how many customers have signed up and how many stamps you have given, ever, this week and today.
2. 2Open Getting set up to work down the five steps. The card on this page shows how many are done and which is next.
3. 3In Chrome or Edge on a computer, the folder picker sits under the Getting set up card until you choose a folder. Put the folder inside Google Drive, iCloud or Dropbox and your files follow you to other devices.
4. 4In Safari, Firefox or on an iPad there is no folder picker. Once you have real figures and no backup file for seven days, a line says how long it has been, with the Save a backup file button beside it. It does not appear while a folder is saving by itself.
5. 5Look at the week: three scorecards and a chart from your ledger. Until you have typed anything of your own, they show an example, marked as one. Once the screen is yours, an empty ledger says so and offers the sales box instead: your figures are never mixed with invented ones.
6. 6Use the three tiles as shortcuts to the screens behind them: to break even, earns you most, and regulars.

What it does

• Everything on the page is worked out from your figures in Settings, your items on Profit by item, and your ledger.
• The seven-day forecast, as icons, uses the location you set in Settings. If tomorrow is wet, you have time to order less.
• The weather comes from MET Norway, the Norwegian weather service, under an open licence that allows us to show it to you. Its name appears under the icons.
• On an iPad or iPhone, a card asks you once to add KANJIN to the Home Screen: in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Opened from that icon, Safari keeps your figures instead of clearing them after seven days of use without a visit.
• The dashed box at the bottom is the paid step. It is shown locked instead of hidden, so you can see what the last stage is.
