The classic back office

Free

The layout KANJIN opened on until 26 October 2026: your stamp card, which setup step is next, who you can reach, and — once you have typed some figures — how the week went. It is here for two weeks.

Open it

How to use it

  1. The classic menu lists only what your role may open. Counter staff do not see the Money group, Settings, Shop & staff or Your plan.
  2. A manager does not see Settings, Shop & staff, Your plan or Paying your team. The owner sees everything.
  3. Press Try the new layout, at the top of this screen, to go to the layout KANJIN opens on. Signing in always opens that layout.
  4. Read Your stamp card, at the top: the reward, how many customers are on the card, stamps given this week, and rewards waiting. Press Give a stamp to open Stamp card & regulars.
  5. The row of circles shows how many stamps a reward costs. It is the shape of your card, not one customer’s progress, so none of them are filled in.
  6. Open Getting set up to finish the three steps to a working card: name your shop, choose the reward, put your QR code at the counter. The bar under it has three parts, one for each step.
  7. Look at the week: three scorecards and a chart from your ledger. Until you type your own figures, they show an example, marked as one.
  8. A shop that has typed nothing yet (no sales, no costs, no items) does not see them or the three tiles. One real figure brings them back.
  9. Use the three tiles as shortcuts to the screens behind them: to break even, earns you most, and regulars.
  10. Under the week, once your stamp card has customers, a line says how many there are and how many can be emailed: they left an email and ticked yes. That second number is who the paid plan can reach. When it is under about a third, the line says to ask for an email at the counter.

What it does

  • Until 25 October 2026 “Stamps this week” said 0 on every shop, every week. The figure was never written: the database counted it on every sync and nothing carried the answer to the screen. It is the real count now, in your shop’s own week, and the three figures are worked out before the page is drawn rather than a second after it.
  • And until 26 October 2026 “Rewards waiting” said 0 on this screen too, for the same shops the stamp card works best for. It counted customers whose card was full — which is nobody, for longer than a moment, because filling a card issues the reward and starts the card again at nought. It counts the rewards themselves now: the ones issued and not yet handed over, the same number the Stamp card screen shows.
  • Everything on the page is worked out from your figures in Settings, your items on Profit by item, and your ledger.
  • A free shop sees what it has left this month — review requests, emails to your list and reply drafts — on a phone here, and at the foot of the menu on a computer. The row turns amber at four fifths and names the one closest to its limit. It starts again on the 1st.
  • The seven-day forecast, as icons, uses the location you set in Settings. If tomorrow is wet, you have time to order less. It appears once the location is set. It comes from MET Norway, the Norwegian weather service, under an open licence that allows us to show it to you; its name appears under the icons.
  • On an iPad or iPhone, a card asks you once to add KANJIN to the Home Screen: in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It opens KANJIN without the address bar, which is easier to hand to staff.
  • If Bring a friend is on and anybody has used it this month, a line under the list says how many friends were brought in. It is the same count as the one on Win-back, birthdays & referrals, and it is hidden while the sample shop is showing, because that number would be your real one under invented figures.
  • The first-run questions a new shop is asked are not on this screen and never were: they belong to the screen KANJIN opens on, which is the new one. There are four of them from 4 November 2026 — the shop’s name and city, the reward, the counter poster, and how you came across KANJIN — and three before that date.
