Getting set up
FreeFive numbered steps, in the order they pay off. Each shows what it holds and a tick when it is done. The number never changes.
Open itHow to use it
- Step 1: start your stamp card. The customer’s phone number is their card.
- Step 2: enter your rent, wages and average sale in Settings. Every screen uses them.
- Step 3: list six or more of your services with their price and cost. The Profit by item screen uses this list.
- Step 4: print the counter poster. It explains the card so staff do not have to.
- Step 5: keep a backup. In Chrome or Edge on a computer, pick a folder; the picker is on the page. Put the folder inside Google Drive, iCloud or Dropbox and your other devices see the same files. In Safari, Firefox or on an iPad there is no folder picker, so the step is Save a backup file, and it counts as done for seven days.
What it does
- A finished step says “Done” beside its number. It keeps its number, so “I am on step 3” means the same thing to everyone.
- Step 5 is done at the foot of the page: the folder picker, or the Save a backup file button where there is no picker. It stays there until the step is done.
- The highlighted step is the next one to do and the only one with a button. Every row is a link, so you can go back to a finished step or jump ahead.
- The Overview shows the same five steps as a small card with a progress bar. Press it to come here.
