How to use it

1. 1Open Settings and press Manage locations, or open Locations from the bottom of the side menu.
2. 2The list shows every shop on your account and which one this device is working in.
3. 3Press Switch to this shop to work in another one. The stamp card, customer list and marketing screens change with it.
4. 4To add a shop, type its name, pick the country its customers dial from, and, if you have it, its Google review link. Press Add location. The country decides how a number typed without a dial code is read; you can change it later in Settings.

What it does

• With two shops or more, Locations has a link to All shops: customers, new customers, visits, emails and review requests at every shop on the account, for the last 30 days, side by side with the group’s totals.
• A shop whose shared customer card is switched off says “Not reporting” on that screen rather than showing zeros, and is left out of the totals with a line saying how many were left out. Its customers are on its own device, which is not the same thing as having none.
• There is no takings column on All shops, on purpose. Your daily ledger is kept in the browser on the device you type it into and we have never held a copy, so there is nothing we could add up. Each shop’s takings are on its own Daily Overview.
• The free plan covers one shop. Once any shop on the account is on the paid plan, you can add up to five. Each paid shop is billed on its own.
• Your daily figures, shift notes and invoices live in the folder on this device and do not change when you switch. Only the cloud side changes: stamp card, customers, emails, poster.
• Each shop has its own counter poster and its own QR code. Print the right one for the right counter.
• If someone signs in to your account on another device, they see none of the figures in your folder. They would see the cloud side of a paid shop, so keep your password to yourself.
