How to use it

1. 1Open Settings and find Your shops, under Shop details. This card lists every shop on your account and shows which one this device is in.
2. 2Use it to switch shops or add one. The old Locations address still brings you here. On the classic screens, the shop name at the top has the same switch.
3. 3The list shows every shop on your account, and the one this device is open in is marked Open here.
4. 4With no shop chosen on this device, KANJIN opens the oldest shop you own. A shop you joined by invitation never takes the place of your own.
5. 5Press Use this shop to work in another one. The stamp card, customer list and marketing screens change with it, and you stay on this card.
6. 6To add a shop, type its name and pick the country its customers dial from. Add its postal address and a contact email, then press Add a shop.
7. 7If you have them, also add your first name and the shop’s Google review link.
8. 8Every email must carry a postal address by law. Replies go to the contact email.
9. 9The country decides how a number without a dial code is read. In a country with one time zone, it also sets the shop’s clock, so timed emails can start straight away.
10. 10In a country with several time zones, such as the United States, Canada or Australia, the new shop asks for its city first. You can change both later in Settings.
11. 11Give each shop its own contact email. It is also the billing email the payment page starts with.
12. 12Two shops can share a name. Add the branch to tell them apart, like Sample Shop - Downtown. The form warns you when you type a name you already use.

What it does

• With two shops or more, the Your shops card has a link to All shops: customers, new customers, visits, emails and review requests at every shop on the account, for the last 30 days, side by side with the group’s totals. It opens in the panel beside you, like every other screen. Between 26 and 28 October 2026 it had no way in at all — the link to it was inside a panel, and a link in a panel that is not one of these screens is refused rather than followed.
• Every shop on the account is in the totals, with its takings for the period from its own Sales & costs tab. A shop showing nothing under Takings has had no day logged, which is not the same as a quiet month.
• Takings are added up across your shops only when they all use the same currency. If one shop takes pounds and another takes dollars, the group total shows a dash rather than a wrong number, and each shop’s own figure is still on its row.
• The free plan covers one shop. Once any shop on the account is on the paid plan, you can add up to five. Each paid shop is billed on its own.
• The one shop the free plan covers is your FIRST — the oldest on the account. From 21 October 2026 any OTHER shop that is on the free plan is paused: it is all still here and you can still read it and download its customer list, but it cannot give a stamp or send an email until it is on the paid plan. Put it on the paid plan and it starts working again straight away. This is what happens to shops two to five if you stop paying: nothing is deleted, and your first shop carries on as a free shop.
• A paused shop says so at the top of every one of its screens, with the way to pay for it and a button to download its customers. Its kiosk still shows a customer their stamps and tells them it cannot add one today, and a reward they have already earned can still be used at your counter. On a locked tablet the download button is replaced, from 29 October 2026, by “This tablet is in Counter mode. Switch back to Manager with your Manager PIN to do this.” and an Unlock button. Switch back to Manager with your Manager PIN and the button is back.
• The add form says this before you add, not after: an extra shop can be set up for free, and it cannot stamp cards or send emails until it is on the paid plan.
• Switching shops switches everything: the stamp card, the customers, the ledger, the items, the figures and the notes are each that shop’s own.
• Each shop has its own counter poster and its own QR code. Print the right one for the right counter.
• Anyone who signs in to your account sees every shop on it. Staff you invite see only the shop you invited them to, and counter staff see the stamp card and the shift notes, never the money. Keep your own password to yourself.
• More than five shops is a conversation. Email us from the About page.
• Add a shop did nothing but show an error between 29 September and 25 October 2026. The form was not sending two fields the save expected, so every press came back refusing a box that is not on the screen. It is a paid-plan feature and nobody had used it yet, which is why it sat there that long.
