The six questions owners ask most, a form that reaches a person, and where to report a bug. Open it from Settings → Help and support.

How to use it

  1. Read the six answers first: where your shop is kept, what the paid plan adds, how customers join the stamp card, when the rainy-day email goes out, why your break-even looks high, and whether you can cancel or leave.
  2. Every screen also has its own page here, reached from How this screen works in the top corner of that screen. That is the faster route when you already know which screen you mean.
  3. You can ask from any screen. Press Help in the bar at the top. It opens the manual page for that screen and the form that reaches a person.
  4. On the classic screens, Help is in the bottom-right corner. It is not shown in Counter Mode or on the counter poster, so nothing covers a screen a customer reads.
  5. If none of it answers the question, the form on that page reaches a person rather than a queue.
  6. Billing, invoices and refunds have their own section: for anything about money, your plan screen has the invoice and the way to cancel, and the rest is answered there.

What it does

  • Nothing on this page is behind the paid plan. A shop on the free plan asks the same way and gets the same answer.
  • Where your shop is kept is answered the same way here as in the privacy policy (Settings says it as “Your data is saved”): on your account, on our servers, on the free plan and the paid plan alike. Until October this page said your figures sat in a folder you picked and that putting that folder in Google Drive backed them up. That has not been how KANJIN works since September, and following it would have left you looking for a folder that is not there. Your own copy comes from Export in Settings.
  • For anything about a payment — an invoice, a card that failed, a refund — start from the plan line beside your shop’s name at the top of the screen (Your plan, on the classic screens). Our payment partner is the seller of record, so the invoice is theirs and it is the one your accountant needs.
