What your customers see
The customer’s card
PaidA customer’s own stamp card as a web page: their stamps, the next reward, and the shop’s offer. They reach it from the link in their email.
How to use it
- Tell the customer to open the link in their review or offer email. There is nothing to install and no account.
- Look at it with them over the counter. It shows their stamps, how many to the next reward, and any reward waiting.
What it does
- The number is shown partly masked. The link is a long random token. The page cannot be guessed, and it shows nothing to a stranger who finds it.
- To replace a customer’s link, open them in the customer list and press Issue a new card link. The old link stops working at once. The new link is shown to you once; hand it to the customer yourself.
- The page is kept out of search engines.
- On the paid plan it carries your logo above your name, and the stamps are pressed in your colour. On the free plan it is KANJIN’s cinnabar red, which is the only place colour appears on the card at all — which is why it is the one thing worth handing over to a shop.
- At the bottom the customer has two links of their own: “Stop emails from this shop” and “Delete my card”. The first stops that shop emailing them and leaves their stamps alone. The second deletes the card, the stamps and their details, asks once, and cannot be undone.
- A customer who deletes themselves does not need to ask you, and you are not told. If they come back they are a new customer starting at zero, and any earlier yes to offers does not come back with them. If they had asked you to stop emailing them, that one fact is kept in a form nobody can read, so deleting them cannot put them back on a list.
- The last line of the card has a small link for customers who run a shop themselves: “Run a shop? Get a free stamp card.”
- An earlier version asked customers to add the card to their home screen, so it could send notifications. That was removed. A customer should not be asked for anything to hold a stamp card.
