What your slow weekdays and wet days cost you in a year, counted from your own stamp card and last year’s weather at your address. Then the one thing that wins some of it back: a Slow Day SOS email on the paid plan.

How to use it

  1. Set your location and your trade in Settings. That is all this screen needs to start.
  2. Read the reasons first: wet days where you are, from last year’s weather, and the weekday your own stamps show is slow.
  3. Read the cost next: what a typical wet day or slow weekday costs a shop like yours. It comes from published figures for your trade, and from your normal-day customer count if you set one.
  4. Read the card at the bottom. It says what the paid plan does about wet days: the rainy-day email, written the night before. Press Unlock Rainy Day Emails to see the plan.

What it does

  • Wet days are counted from one year of daily rainfall at your location. A day with one millimeter or more counts. It needs at least ninety days of records to say anything.
  • The slow weekday comes from your stamp card. It is the day of the week with the fewest visits, once there are enough visits to compare.
  • The drop on a wet day is a trade benchmark; its source is named on the screen. Your own figure from Settings replaces it if you gave one. The screen used to also estimate faster table turns; that is gone, because it pulled attention from the days themselves.
  • The reasons count does not depend on the money. Even if your register does not dip, a wet Thursday is still a reason to email.
